Hot Fitness Blogger Who Tried To Prove A Feminist Point Is No Longer Hot… At All

Complete turn-off.

It used to be that the word “brave” actually meant something – a firefighter entering a burning building because there’s a child that’s trapped in a room and climbing out of the 10th story on a ladder with the childing clutching to his chest, a police officer who put his life on the line protecting his community knowing full well that it may cost him his life, a soldier who puts themselves in harms way to ensure the safety of people he will never meet – these used to be what came to the minds of people when talking about bravery.

But nowadays, lot of things count as “brave.” You can talk about statistical fallacies like the “gender wage gap” and be seen as “brave.” You could shave your head in some misguided stand against imaginary oppression and be described as “brave.” On the flipside, you could not shave certain parts of your body and somehow fit the description of “brave,” apparently.

Morgan Mikenas, who news outlets and social media users describes as “a BRAVE fitness blogger” decided she wasn’t going to shave her legs for a year, and claims it’s to inspire other people to embrace and appreciate natural beauty.

Writer note: Just be glad you only have to look at this image briefly while you’re scrolling. While I was screenshoting/cropping/uploading/resizing that bitch of an image, I had to look at it a lot more…

She said she first started shaving when she was bullied at school for her hairy legs at the age of about 11 or 12, after that she ran home crying and begged her mother to teach her how to shave.

In 2016 she decided she was going to forgo the razor and instead embrace the “natural” look.

She said:

“It took so much of my time to get in the shower and have to shave everything and then wash my hair and then wash my body it’s just like another thing.

“I just, one day, was like ‘why am I doing this anymore? This just takes so much time.’

“After I let it do its thing and grow out I just realised ‘oh hey this is kind of nice’. It started getting super soft.

“When you shave your body hair it’s prickly and itchy and uncomfortable. So I guess that’s another reason why.

“I’m not trying to make all of humanity just stop shaving armpits and leg hair anymore. I just want to inspire others and what works for you, what makes you feel the most comfortable.”

Second note: Again, you lucky devils. I lost my appetite for lunch.

First off, before I  can I just say that I prefer her body type before she started bodybuilding? I mean, hair aside, she doesn’t look as healthy in that second photo, and this is coming from a guy who typically prefers slender girls.

I mean, honestly, how am I supposed to take this crap seriously?

Third note: Ugh. Last one. I refuse to do any more of these images.

Look, Morgan, you have the right to do this misguided madness, but luckily I also have the right to not find this attractive.

Well… I have the right to not find this sort of thing attractive for now. If the RadFems have their way, I’ll probably be thrown in prison for bigotry at some point.
